The La Cruz Community Center serves as a gathering place for residents of the La Cruz Community Housing Complex.

The goal of the community center staff and volunteers is to provide a consistent and quality support system for members of the La Cruz community to help them achieve positive growth and success.

Our goals include:

1. Building leadership in all parts of the family (parents and children)
2. Providing a comprehensive guide of social services available in the St. Cloud area.
3. Reinforcing the understanding of social and community rights and responsibilities.
4. Providing skill-training and educational programs that help youth earn gainful employment.
5. Seeking academic success for children by providing an after-school homework program.
6. Directly addressing youth violence to reduce gang involvement.
