Volunteer Opportunities

Homework Helpers
Spend one or more hours per week helping kids who come to the community center for homework assistance. Helpers are matched with one or a small group of children to help with reading, English, math, science or nearly any subject. Helpers also assist in studying for tests and improving study skills.

Reading Room
Once finished with their homework, kids can go into the “reading room.” Volunteers are needed to supervise the library or listen to young readers read aloud.

We’re looking for people who are interested in organizing and
facilitating programs for adults and youth at the center.
