Pregnancy Counseling

Assisting expectant parents in their decision to parent or place their child for adoption

Our goal at Catholic Charities Pregnancy Counseling Services is to help women and men make the best decision for themselves and their baby. Pregnancy Counseling addresses:

• Decision making skills
  
• Identifying personal values
  
• Clarifying personal needs
  
• Exploring relationships
  
• Meeting the child's best interests
• Assessing financial situation

We offer decision making-counseling regarding parenting or placing a child for adoption. Resource refferal and faciliation of legal procedures for termination of parental rights, if desired.

Eligibility/Fees

Any person who is faced with an unexpected pregnancy is eligible for our services regardless of age, income, marital status, or religious affiliation. No fees are charged to birth parents.

Adoption plan

If you decide to create an adoption plan for your child, Catholic Charities Adoption Services is able to help with that process. Our agency is licensed by the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services to provide infant foster care and adoption services for birth parents and adoptive parents.
