Secure Residential Intensive Treatment

The Catholic Charities Secure Residential Intensive Treatment Units are secure, inpatient residential treatment facilities for struggling male and female adolescents ages 12-18, who can not be served safely or who have experienced minimal levels of success in less restrictive and intensive environments. Our comprehensive program offers a wide array of growth-promoting activities aimed at facilitating true and lasting change, not just stabilization, through a positive, structured, social-learning environment. Programming includes individual, family, recreational, and group therapy, a fully-integrated therapeutic and educational component, as well as community involvement. We have two locations to serve: Fergus Falls, MN and St. Cloud, MN. Both sites include:

Our St. Cloud location is a co-educational programming unit that has a capacity of 9 students. Youth that require more intensive treatment (increased frequency, duration, and immediacy of treatment interventions) and require greater medical care are appropriate for this service. Residents also have the opportunity to transition into our classroom-setting school program and/or an open treatment unit when appropriate. .

Our Fergus Falls location is a gender specific programming unit that has a capacity of 16 students. Youth that require more intensive treatment (increased frequency, duration, and immediacy of treatment interventions) are appropriate for this setting. Residents have the opportunity for local community involvement and transition into our St. Cloud open treatment program when appropriate.
