Where have all the chalkboards gone?

Over 1,700 Central Minnesota children will soon go to Catholic Charities Emergency Services hoping to find the same back to school supplies many of us will be purchasing for our children - supplies like pencils, pens, dry-erase markers and flash drives.

We will be collecting school suppliess in the entryway to the church at all weekend masses to help make sure these young people go back to school with the things they need. Please check the posters on the collection barrels to see what is most needed.

Thank you so much for your generous participation in our recent Back to School Drive. We brought four large garbage bags of supplies to Catholic Charities Emergency Services!

As you are harvesting your garden, keep Catholic Charities in mind as well. Emergency Services accepts fresh fruits and vegetables - the ones you may have too many of. Emergency Services accepts donations at their Roosevelt Road location (behind Tenvoorde Ford) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
