Volunteer Opportunity

Position:
Mardi Gras Volunteer
Program Served:

Mardi Gras: Annual fundraising benefit.

Your working hands are needed to mount this event to raise funds for Catholic Charities Emergency Services and Domus Transitional Housing and to raise awareness in the community about what Catholic Charities does. Mardi Gras will be held on February 4, 2011.

Primary Duties:

Any help is appreciated. Your areas of involvement may include:

  • Auction Item: calling and preparations
  • Auction close, the night of the event
  • Decorations: table and room decor
  • Publicity: print and radio
  • Set-up and tear-down decorations
  • Transportation of items to Catholic Charities

Qualifications:
  
Experience: 
 1) Good verbal abilities.
2) Likes working with others.
