Day Treatment ProgramCatholic Charities' Day Treatment provides academic and therapeutic services to emotionally at-risk children ages 10 to 18. The children also engage in Experiential Learning activities like gardening and athletic events. Children receive individual and group counseling that allows them to successfully reintegrate into their local school districts. |
Primary Duties: |
There are several breaks, including lunch, throughout the day during which the volunteers are needed to provide supervision. This would be a chance for volunteers to observe and learn to manage group and individual behavior. Volunteers would also be able to develop relationships with the students and help them learn to use their leisure time constructively. |

Qualifications: |

Experience: |
1) Ability to work with youth 2) Need to maintain confidentiality 3) Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age 4) Background in psychology, social work, or related field |
