Imagine having to choose between diapers and back to schoolsupplies – one child’s needs or another. This is the reality for some families in our community. Back to school supplies just aren’t a part of the monthly budget.

Catholic Charities Emergency Services strives to help families who are struggling to make the monthly budget work. During the month of August,we do that by providing students from low-income families with a backpack filled with basic school supplies, along with a few pairs of socks and underwear to start the school year.

You can help by dropping off a donation of a backpack, school supplies, socks or underwear to Catholic Charities

We especially need backpacks, erasers, 8-packs of thick markers, socks and underwear for junior high students, spiral bound notebooks and filler paper.
