Financial Assistance
Emergency financial assistance services are available to you at no cost. However, response to your request is based upon the nature of the crisis and available funding. We may be able to assist you with the following:
- Fuel cards
- Bus cards
- Diapers and formula
- Prescriptions and Co-Pays
- Birth Certificates and State Identification
- Apartment Application Fees
- Information and Referral to other helpful agencies

contact the Tri-County Action Program (Tri-CAP).—mortgage/rent-related issues,
contact Catholic Charities Financial Counseling.
Service area
The Catholic Charities Emergency Services: Financial serves persons in the immediate St. Cloud area. We will also help persons from our surrounding Central Minnesota counties if we receive a referral by a county social services worker.
Details of service
- Clients are registered on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Please plan to arrive early to avoid the possibility of not being able to register before the service period closes.
Registration usually ends at least 15 minutes prior to the posted close of that day's service. - First-time clients must provide identification for themselves.
- Please be prepared to provide identification.
Children must be supervised at all times
Children must be supervised at all times when using emergency clothing services.

Financial and Housing Counseling also available
Our staff is also able to assist clients by putting them in touch with other community resources that may be able to more effectively deal with a specific need. Catholic Charities Financial and Housing Counseling which offers advocacy and education, is also available to help.
