Back to School Drive
Imagine having to choose between diapers and back to 
school supplies – one child’s needs or another. This is the reality for some families in our community. Back to school supplies just aren’t a part of the monthly budget.
Catholic Charities Emergency Services strives to help families who are struggling to make the monthly budget work. During the month of August,we do that by providing students from low-income families with a backpack filled with basic school supplies, along with a few pairs of socks and underwear to start the school year.
What you can do
Donate now - either online or via mail (be sure to designate the funds to Back to School.)
You can also conduct a school supply drive at your school, church or place of employment. Use the tool kits items at right to help! Feel free to duplicate or copy anything that will help you gather more.
We especially need socks, underwear, backpacks, erasers, 8-packs of thick markers, spiral bound notebooks and filler paper.
You can help make sure every child in our community is prepared to go back to school – prepared for success!
