Living well, after the workshop

Catholic Charities recently received this note from one of the instructors of it's Living Well with Chronic Conditions Workshop:

"I just had to tell you about a miracle that happened today while Shari and I were buttoning up the last session of Living Well with Chronic Conditions at Benedict Village. A lady who has lived with "Panic Attacks" all her adult life was telling us what she has gotten from the sessions.

"She said that a few days ago she had a full blown panic attack. She struggled with it for a few moments and thought of what we had been talking about, in "Self Management". She told us
that she suddenly thought-- "Why are you allowing this to happen to yourself? This attack will not last forever" and she intentionally brought her anxiety down and stopped the attack herself.! (no meds!)

"Then she said that,("thanks to us"), she "will never have to have a panic attack ever again!!!"

"She is finally in control!"

"HURRAY!!!

"Thought you would like to know. It has all been worth the time and effort when you hear something like that."
