Catholic Charities Caritas Mental Health Clinic is an outpatient counseling and behavioral health facility operating in St. Cloud and through satellite sites throughout Central Minnesota. The goal of our multi-disciplinary team is to promote the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual health and well-being of all people through its mental health services.

Catholic Charities Caritas Mental Health Clinic is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services as a Rule 29 Mental Health Clinic.
 
Caritas Mental Health Clinic has been designated as an Essential Community Provider by the State of Minnesota which indicates our status as a necessary provider to the St. Cloud and surrounding communities.
 
All of our professional staff are licensed to provide mental health services in the state of Minnesota.  
 
Services are available to all eligible persons regardless of age, color, creed, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Daytime and evening appointments are available in St. Cloud and at various times at our satellite sites. Choose one of the options above, then call the number on the right of that page to make an appointment. You will be connected to an Intake Coordinator who will gather pertinent information and process your request for an appointment.

Most services are covered by the following insurance providers:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Health Partners

  • Minnesota Care

  • Medical Assistance

  • Medicare

  • Most employee-sponsored insurance companies

If you are not covered by an insurance plan, fees are determined on a sliding fee schedule based on household gross income. No one is denied services due to an inability to pay.
Services are available to all eligible persons regardless of age, color, creed, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Counseling is offered at sites throughout Central Minnesota, including:

  • Milaca

  • Princeton                                         

  • St. Cloud                                        

  • Sauk Centre

 
Catholic Charities has contracts to provide school counseling services at the following schools, if your child attends one of these schools, please contact the school office to access services:

  • St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, South St. Cloud

  • St. Katherine Drexel, East St. Cloud

  • St. Francis Xavier, Sartell

  • Apollo High School, St. Cloud

  • Tech High School, St. Cloud

  • Stride Elementary and Middle Schools, St. Cloud

  • Annandale Middle and High Schools

  • Spectrum Charter High School, Elk River

  • St. Michael/Albertville Elementary Schools

 
 
In addition, psychiatric assessments and medication management are offered by our board-certified adult psychiatrist and child nurse practitioner.
