At Catholic Charities, our mission includes building communities, promoting family life and enhancing human dignity. Nowhere is our mission more fulfilled than in our Adult Foster Care Residences. We build the communities both inside and outside of each residence, encouraging our residents to get outside and to be as active in the community as their gifts and talents allow. We also encourage residents to form a community inside our residences by eating meals together, going on outings together and doing the best we can to create a family atmosphere.
Each person served deserves the respect and dignity due to every human being. We do our very best to meet each person served where they are, and encourage them to develop their skills and abilities. Quite simply, our goal is to help our residents live the best, most independent lives they can. That means something different for each of them.

Staff
A staff member is on-site 24 hours per day to assist residents. Each of our staff members is dedicated to our goal of helping our residents live their best possible life. As such, they:
- Encourage good health through nutrition and activities
- Organize and conduct outings to make sure residents participate in their community
- Assist in teaching residents life skills
- Help residents in areas where there is a need.
Families Welcome
At Catholic Charities, we truly believe that each person served is at home when at one of our developmental disability homes. As such, we invite families to stop and visit just as they would any of their other relatives.
Accesibilidad
Our homes are built so that all areas are fully accessible. Our buildings features include:
- Extra-wide doors
- Roll-in showers
- Appliances and electrical outlets designed for wheelchair accessibility
- Additional adaptive and therapeutic equipment
Referencias y honorarios
Los programas residenciales de Caridades Católicas funcionan con referencias de agencias de servicios sociales, públicas y privadas, que deben evaluar, aprobar y recomendar a las personas para nuestro cuidado.
A menudo, estas personas ya reciben algún tipo de servicio, pero necesitan un mayor nivel de atención a medida que avanza la discapacidad.
También podemos atender a personas con pago privado. La mayoría de las personas serán elegibles para recibir servicios de Asistencia Médica a través de diversos programas de exención de agencias del condado y estatales.
