Catholic Charities
Annual Report
Dear Friends,
Thank you for taking the time to review Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud’s 2025 Annual Report. Throughout the report, you will see our core values of respect, compassion, service, accountability, dignity, and hope reflected in the work that we do. You will see the significant impact that we have in our communities throughout Central Minnesota. Deep and meaningful impact that is felt in every story and seen in every life.
We spent much of 2025 charting Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud’s path forward, with the help of our Board, leadership team, team members throughout the organization, and our community. Our new vision is communities where everyone has access to a foundation of stability, dignity and hope. We plan to achieve this vision through our new mission of empowering our neighbors and creating impact in food, housing, and mental health that is seen and felt for generations.
One of our strategic priorities moving forward is to transform how we serve and engage our clients. This means capturing whole client needs at the outset and developing a better system of partnering with other community providers to meet those needs. More to come on this in the months and years ahead.
Finally, all of this great work and profound impact is only possible due to the incredible teams, volunteers, donors and external agency partners committed to our communities, our neighbors and our collective future. Thank you. Your time, talent and treasure make all the difference. Fred Rogers of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood, really understood the value of serving our neighbors:
“All of us, at some time or other, need help. Whether we’re giving or receiving help, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world. That’s one of the things that connects us as neighbors—in our own way, each one of us is a giver and a receiver.” - Mr. Rogers
You've helped empower
48,444
neighbors in our community.
Catholic Charities empowers our neighbors and creates impact in housing, food, and mental health that is seen and felt for generations.
Our programs focus on three pillars:
Food Access
Our Food Shelf served more than
20,000 individuals
and distributed over
2.6 million pounds of food, contributing to a
161.7% increase
in people served since 2021—growth nearly equal to the entire population of Sauk Rapids. Beyond food, thousands more received help with clothing, household essentials, and critical financial assistance that kept families moving, working, and stable.
Housing Services
665 individuals
found safe, affordable housing across seven rental sites, while
35 residents
in our group homes received daily supportive care. Our In‑Home program assisted
73 individuals with disabilities, and
887 neighbors
accessed transitional housing through Domus, street outreach, and housing coordination services. Youth remained a central priority as well, with
100 young people
securing housing through the SHY Program.
Mental Health
A total of
9,406 individuals received mental health services, including
729 people served through Granite City Counseling—enough to fill every seat in downtown St. Cloud’s Paramount Theatre. Our Child and Adolescent Day Treatment program provided structured therapeutic support to
106 children across St. Cloud and Elk River, helping them reduce and manage mental health symptoms in a safe, consistent environment.
