Businesses Close but Mental Health Clinics Remain Open

Losing your health, a loved one or your job are the fears and realities of people across the United States and globally as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The virus can produce feelings of anxiety and hopelessness, taking a toll on your mental health. While many businesses are closed because of coronavirus, mental health clinics are considered “essential services” and are exempt from the stay-at-home order issued by the state, including Catholic Charities Behavioral Health Clinic, St. Cloud.

“We are taking steps to modify operations to be able to continue to offer services to our clients,” said Alyssa Knese, clinic director, Catholic Charities Behavioral Health Clinic. “Therapists are available for same-day, in-person diagnostic assessments and can also be scheduled in advance. Telebehavioral health (video face-to-face) services are available for those who have a current diagnostic assessment with a therapist at the Behavioral Health Clinic.”

Call 320-650-1660 to schedule an appointment or visit ccstcloud.org/services/mental-health/behavioral-health-clinic for more information.
