Group Opportunities
Catholic Charities has many opportunities for groups to volunteer for our programs. However, most opportunities take a bit of coordination; please email volunteer@ccstcloud.org to discuss your group’s skills and abilities. We’ll try to match them with Catholic Charities needs.
Past group activities have included:
- Landscaping and yard work
- Large-scale cleaning projects
- Creating or assisting with decorations for an event
- Coordinating a donation drive
- Assisting in processing donations after a drive
Many more opportunities exist. Please our call volunteer coordinator to discuss how you can help make a different tomorrow in central Minnesota.
Student Volunteers
Many students have shared their time and talent with Catholic Charities. Their activities often fall into three different categories: required volunteering, group volunteering and internships.
Required COLLEGE CLASS Volunteering
For those who are required to volunteer for short periods of time, know that opportunities are at times limited—especially opportunities for client interaction. All opportunities are filled on a first-come first-serve basis. Email volunteer@ccstcloud.org soon for the best chance of fulfilling your requirement.
Group Volunteering
Catholic Charities has many opportunities for groups to volunteer for our programs. However, most opportunities take a bit of coordination, please email volunteer@ccstcloud.org to discuss your group’s skills and abilities and we’ll try to match them with Catholic Charities needs.
Internships
Internships are a fantastic way to both volunteer and learn.
Visit our Internships page to learn more.
Individual Opportunities
One hour, one day, one week, one year—Catholic Charities has volunteers who have made many different commitments to helping others.
Generally, our volunteers are age 18 and older. Common volunteer opportunities include doing clerical work, working in one of our kitchens, or sorting and folding clothes. However, if you have special skills and talents that you would like to use, please tell us!
We ask all of our individual volunteers to fill out an individual registration form. You may click on the link below to access the online form.
Once we receive your application, we’ll give you a call to talk about how your unique skills and abilities can be best used.
Societies of Catholic Charities
Individuals or businesses can donate to Catholic Charities through our Ever-Green Society and Circle of Hope Society. These societies consist of committed Catholic Charities donors. Read more about becoming a member.
